{"id":319,"date":"2024-01-25T06:51:59","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T06:51:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nfkckochi.in\/?page_id=319"},"modified":"2024-03-18T01:50:24","modified_gmt":"2024-03-18T01:50:24","slug":"join-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nfkckochi.in\/index.php\/join-us\/","title":{"rendered":"Join Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Membership<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center\">\n<p>Any person who has served in the Indian Navy or Naval Reserves as a <strong>Commissioned Officer<\/strong> with a  sound mind and has not been convicted by a Court of Law in a criminal case, shall be <strong>eligible to become a Member of the Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There shall be the following categories of members of the Foundation:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ordinary Members<\/strong>&nbsp;Any person who is eligible to become Member, may become an Ordinary Member for life on payment by him of the subscription as may be specified in these rules and regulations from time to time. For Officers retiring post January 2019, IHQ MoD (N) is directly deducting the membership fee from their retiring benefits and remitting the amount to NFKC through bank account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Honorary Members<\/strong>&nbsp;The Management Committee may at it&#8217;s discretion invite eminent persons interested in Maritime Affairs to become Honorary Members of the Foundation. Widows of Naval Officers may also be invited to be the Honorary Members of the Foundation. Honorary Membership unless specified for a period will be for life. No subscription shall be payable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>We have simplified the membership formalities.
